About Us

The Ida Public Schools is located on a closed campus and includes three school buildings; the district enrollment typically ranges between 1,400 and 1,500 students. The 2021-22 district enrollment was approximately 1,470. The Ida Elementary School is a K-4 building with approximately 25 teachers. The Ida Middle School is a Grade 5 through Grade 8 building with approximately 20 teachers. The Ida High School is a 9th through 12th-grade building with approximately 25 teachers. Some teachers are shared between buildings. The school is in Southeast Monroe County, a rural community of mostly family farms and the small village of Ida.
